Cite Them Right is an online platform designed to advise students on how to reference correctly across eight referencing styles, including APA 7th. You can select your required referencing style and see guidance and examples on how to reference different sources. You can find further referencing information and help on the Referencing LibGuide.

Referencing Styles

Cite Them Right have guidance for eight different referencing styles, including APA 7th. When you select the relevant referencing style, you will then have access to the following:

  • Guidance and examples on how to reference different sources, from books and journals to law reports and social media
  • Useful editable boxes where you can try creating your own reference for a specific source and then email or copy the reference
  • Guidance on how to set out quotations and how to paraphrase and summarise using your specific referencing style

Referencing and Plagiarism

Cite Them Right also has useful information and videos to help you understand why referencing and plagiarism is important. This guidance is split into the following sections which are all available to view on the Cite them Right platform:
